Introduction
インドネシア出身。現在、英オックスフォード大学大学院 動物学（CERO）博士課程に在籍中。インドネシア ガジャマダ大学生物学部卒業、北海道大学大学院 環境科学院生物圏科学専攻修士課程修了。2017年よりガジャマダ大学にて生態保全学講座を担当し、2020年よりインドネシア大学気候変動研究センターにて研究を行う。学術を実際の自然保護活動に結び付けるため、インドネシアにて絶滅危惧種保護を目的としたNGO KONKLUSIを共同運営。熱帯生態学に関心が深く、都市生態学、野生生態学から熱帯林コミニティ生態学まで幅広く研究を行う。
Born in Indonesia. Mukhlish Jamal Musa Holle is currently enrolled as a PhD student at Department of Zoology (CERO), University of Oxford, UK. Beforehand, he has obtained an MEnvSc in Biosphere Science from Hokkaido University, Japan and a BSc in Biology from Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia. Professionally, he is working as a teaching staff in Ecology and Conservation at Gadjah Mada University Indonesia (2017-present) and as a researcher at Research Centre for Climate Change, University of Indonesia (2020). To bridge academia into conservation initiatives, Jamal has co-founded an Indonesia-based conservation NGO KONKLUSI which focuses on the conservation of neglected endangered species. Interested in tropical ecology, Jamal has conducted a broad range of ecological research, from urban ecology, wildlife ecology, to the tropical forest community ecology.
